The maximum rating of this XL4000ii is 3.8kW and is the most this generator will provide for a short time to ‘start’ things. Some devices have a starting current that is higher than its running current so this allows for that*. This generator will run comfortably at 3.5kW as its ‘continuous’ rating but run it at a higher load and it will trip out.

The XL4000ii has two UK standard 3 pin sockets which means no adapters are required – this generator was designed in the UK for use in the UK!

The XL4000ii can be connected in parallel to give you nearly twice the power output of 6.5kW. You will need a Parallel Kit so you have the larger sockets to get the full power from both generators.
