This 25A Automatic Transfer Switch ATS = Single Phase suits the XLD9500Q 6.5kW diesel generator. The generator when using this 25A ATS panel automatically stops and starts by detecting a loss of voltage from the main power source.
Excel Power ATS controls are simple plug in and go type, they have an ATS input plug on both diesel generator and ATS panel for connection with a 3m lead (Included). This can easily extended if your installation requires it. They do need to be electrically installed and by a professional for your piece of mind.
This ATS is rated at 25A and provides transfer of your essential loads to the generator. The non-essential loads drop off leaving the essentials running in the event of a power cut – in a typical installation a dedicated MCB from your existing distribution board is used to supply this ATS which in turn supplies an ‘essential’ board which is backed by the generator.
Fridges, freezers, routers, boiler circuits and lighting are the most common to add the ‘Essential’ distribution board.
This Excel Power ATS panel has a built in trickle charger unit that will keep the generator battery fully charged even when the generator is not in use. Ideal equipment for piece of mind in the event of power outage or loss.
The panel has 4 lights consisting of House Net, Generator, Auto & Failure for easy status checking. The panel can also utilise a manual mode in case you don’t want to use the ATS mode (Recommended only qualified personnel use this feature).
